Do you play in your daily life? What says โ€œplaytimeโ€ to you?

Some days, life feels like one long to-do list with adult supervision. Then suddenlyโ€”boomโ€”a sunny day off from work shows up like a surprise party invitation. That, my friend, is playtime.

For me, play looks like doing absolutely nothing productive with great dedication. A walk in the sunshine. Sitting outside pretending Iโ€™m thinking deep thoughts when Iโ€™m really just counting clouds. Maybe dancing in my living room like Iโ€™m auditioning for โ€œSo You Think You Canโ€™t Dance but Youโ€™re Trying Anyway.โ€

On a sunny day off, even small things feel playfulโ€”cold drink in hand, phone on silent, responsibilities gently ignored like spam calls. Play isnโ€™t just for kids on playgrounds; itโ€™s for tired adults who realize joy is also important business.

So yesโ€”I still play. I laugh, I rest, I take silly selfies, I stretch out like a satisfied cat and let the sun do therapy. Because if we donโ€™t schedule fun, life will book us for meetings instead.

Todayโ€™s homework: go outside, smile at the sun, and rememberโ€”you are allowed to be happy for no reason at all โ˜€๏ธ

Peace!

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
