Yesterday, my iPhone 15 Pro Max suddenly went blank. No matter what I tried, even after a call with an Apple technician—I couldn’t get it to restart. The frustration was overwhelming. I never realized how deeply my daily life is tied to this one device: my messages, my notes, my calendar, even my sense of being connected to the world. Losing it, even temporarily, made me feel like I’d lost part of myself.
So, what would I do if I lost all my possessions? Honestly, at first, I would panic. I’d probably feel disoriented and stripped of control, just like I did with my phone. But beyond that initial wave of fear and frustration, I think it would also be a chance to re-examine what really matters. Possessions make life easier, but they also entangle us. Losing them would force me to lean more on relationships, resilience, and creativity.
Yesterday taught me that while possessions can vanish in an instant, my resourcefulness and faith are things I cannot lose. Maybe the real answer is this: I would grieve the loss, but I’d also grow from it.
