On September 2024, Combs was apprehended and indicted in federal court on multiple serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by means of force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.
During the subsequent trial, the jury rendered a verdict of not guilty on the charges of sex trafficking and racketeering; however, they found him guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, in contravention of the Mann Act, for orchestrating the travel of male escorts across state lines for drug-induced sexual “freak-off” events.
