Is it only me, or was Justin Bieber’s song during the World Cup halftime show a little too calm for such a huge occasion?
Please don’t come for me—I like Justin Bieber. But this is the World Cup, not a quiet Sunday afternoon playlist! I was expecting a song that would make people jump out of their seats, wave their flags, and suddenly believe they could play professional football.
Instead, the performance felt a bit too relaxed. I kept waiting for the beat to drop and the real party to begin. For an event filled with excitement, competition, and millions of energetic football fans, I think he should have chosen a song with more hype, rhythm, and stadium vibes.
But Madonna? Ah-ah! That woman has clearly refused to submit her application for retirement!
Madonna came onstage with energy, confidence, and the attitude of someone who had something to prove. She performed like age was just an annoying notification she had already swiped away. Honestly, she killed it!
Her stage presence was powerful, her energy was impressive, and she reminded everyone why she is still considered an entertainment icon. While some of us are already looking for somewhere to sit down after dancing for five minutes, Madonna was moving around the stage like her knees had just been serviced.
Overall, Justin Bieber’s performance was not bad—it simply felt too mellow for the occasion. The World Cup needs music that gives people goosebumps, raises the energy, and makes the entire stadium feel like one big celebration.
Madonna, however, understood the assignment and added extra credit!
What did you think? Was Justin Bieber’s song too dull for the World Cup halftime show, or did you enjoy the calmer performance? And can we all agree that Madonna’s energy deserves serious respect?
