Daily writing prompt
What’s something you used to worry about but don’t anymore?

Ehn, I used to worry so much about whether people liked me. I would say yes when I wanted to say no, inconvenience myself, and still wonder if everyone was happy with me.

But as I get older, I have realized that pleasing everyone is a full-time job—and the salary is stress!

These days, I am learning to love myself more, protect my peace, and stop bending backward for people who would not even lean forward for me. I still care about others, but not at the expense of my own happiness.

If someone does not like me, that is okay. I am no longer accepting applications for approval!

Stay blessed.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
