Have you ever watched someone do something so effortlessly that you instantly admired them—and maybe wished a sprinkle of that talent would fall on you like confetti? Well, let me tell you two things that always spark my admiration any day, anytime: public speaking and kindness toward the less privileged.
When Someone Speaks Like a Microphone Was Born for Them
Have you noticed how some people can stand in front of a crowd, open their mouths, and suddenly silence falls?
Meanwhile, if it were me, my palms would be sweating like I just finished a relay race, and my heart would be doing praise and worship inside my chest.
There’s something majestic about people who can speak boldly and clearly, using their words to educate, inspire, or even make you laugh. A great speaker can turn boring information into an experience, and turn a crowd into a family.
They take complex ideas and serve them like hot puff-puff—easy to digest, and sweet enough that you want more.
Honestly, I admire anyone who can stand confidently in front of a crowd and deliver a message without forgetting what they wanted to say halfway through. If you fall into that category, just know I’m clapping for you right now.
Acts of Kindness toward the Less Privileged
Another thing that gets my admiration button blinking is when I see people helping those in need—quietly, sincerely, and without expecting applause.
Some people don’t just talk about kindness—they live it.
They give food, donate clothes, pay fees, drive someone to an appointment, sit and listen to a lonely soul, or simply greet someone society ignores.
Kindness is powerful because it doesn’t always make headlines, but it makes hearts softer.
And the truth is, helping the less privileged is not about having extra—it’s about being willing.
The people who do this consistently have a special kind of grace. They inspire me to do more, help more, and love deeper.
Someone who can stand confidently and use their voice to champion kindness? Ah! That’s ultimate admiration material right there.
Anyone who uses their platform—big or small—to uplift others truly deserves flowers, standing ovation, and maybe even a national award (let me know when nomination opens).
We may not all be professional speakers or philanthropic superheroes, but we can all do something:
✨ Speak truth with confidence
✨ Encourage someone today
✨ Give when we can
✨ Offer kindness even when no one is watching
Because one kind word can lift a fading spirit, and one act of compassion can change a life forever.
Peace!
