Daily writing prompt
What book are you reading right now?

Honestly… None. And I think that’s Okay.

If someone asked me today, “What book are you reading right now?” I would probably smile and answer truthfully: _I’m not reading any book as of right now.

Not because I don’t love books. Not because I don’t enjoy learning. But simply because life has been moving fast — faster than my hands can even reach for a novel or devotional right now.

Between school, work, content creation, family, and all the responsibilities waiting for me every single day, reading has quietly taken a back seat. And you know what? I’ve learned to give myself grace about it.

Sometimes life gets busy. Sometimes our schedules are full. And sometimes, the most honest thing we can do is admit that our current “book” is the chapter of life we’re surviving through.

But here’s the beautiful part:
Even though I’m not turning pages right now, I’m still learning.
Through conversations.
Through experiences.
Through challenges.
Through God’s gentle reminders in my daily life.

To be honest, reading will return — it always does. There will be days when I can curl up with a cup of tea, open a book, and lose myself in inspiration again. But for now, I’m allowing myself to be present, to handle what’s on my plate, and to trust that this season won’t last forever.

So if you’re in the same place, juggling a hundred things and reading absolutely nothing… you’re not alone. And you’re not failing. You’re simply living.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
