We all have that one part of our daily routine we secretly try to skip — mine just happens to be taking a morning bath on my lazy days. 😅 Don’t judge me yet! There’s something about those quiet, cozy mornings when my bed feels like heaven and the thought of facing cold water feels like a battle I’m not ready for.
On those days, I convince myself I’ll shower “in just a few minutes”… but somehow that “few minutes” turns into mid-morning, then afternoon. It’s funny how skipping something small like a bath can symbolize much more — our human tendency to crave comfort over discipline, or maybe our body’s way of saying, slow down, I’m tired.
But here’s the thing: even on my laziest mornings, I’ve learned not to feel guilty. Those slower starts remind me that rest is part of balance too. Eventually, I get up, refresh, and face the day — not out of pressure, but because I’ve allowed myself a gentle reset.
So yes, some mornings I skip the bath… but maybe that’s just my way of soaking in a little peace before the world rushes in.
