Authorities have reported that a section of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed following a collision with a sizable container ship in the early hours of Tuesday.

This incident resulted in multiple vehicles plunging into the water below. Rescue teams are currently conducting search operations for a minimum of 20 individuals who were submerged in the Patapsco River subsequent to the vessel’s apparent impact with one of the bridge’s supports, leading to the disintegration of the roadway above.
