Daily writing prompt
If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?

Wow! I totally love my cash, but a million bucks is a huge deal! If I had that kind of money to give away, I wouldn’t just dump it all on one person—I’d spread it around in ways that could really change lives for a long time.

First, I would allocate a substantial portion to students pursuing their aspirations, particularly those aspiring to become nurses, doctors, or teachers but lacking the financial means to cover tuition costs. Education is a gift that perpetually yields returns.

Second, I’d support single mothers and struggling families, because I know how tough it can be to provide for your children when life throws challenges your way.

Third, I’d be thrilled to donate to healthcare projects—establishing active clinics in rural communities and championing mental health programs. A million dollars could transform and uplift so many lives!

And finally, I’d keep a small portion aside for random acts of kindness—helping someone pay rent, surprising a family with groceries, or even blessing a stranger at the gas station. Sometimes the smallest gifts leave the biggest impact.

Imagine if we all gave just a little of what we had—the world would look completely different!

Peace!

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
