Being over 40 years old and dealing with prediabetes, I am endeavoring to avoid progressing to full-fledged diabetes. It is crucial for me to engage in a 30-minute brisk walk at least three times a week. To facilitate this, I have incorporated a treadmill into my living space to serve as a daily reminder and motivation for sticking to my walking regimen.
Thus far, regular walking has proven to be highly beneficial, as evidenced by the relatively low levels of my HbA1c.
I must clarify that not only “walking” has contributed to lowering my HbA1c; credit should also be attributed to a carefully managed diet.
Maintain good health through walking and running.
