What’s the trait you value most about yourself?

The Traits I Treasure Most: Soft-Spokenness, Patience, and Seeing Good in Everyone.

If I had to describe myself in three words, it would be: calm, patient, and annoyingly optimistic. Yes, I’m that person who whispers instead of shouts, waits instead of complains, and still thinks the grumpy neighbor probably just needs a hug and a cup of coffee.

Being soft-spoken doesn’t mean I can’t raise my voice—it just means when I do, people really pay attention (think of it as a built-in microphone effect 🎤).

My patience? Let’s just say if waiting was an Olympic sport, I’d probably have a gold medal by now—though I’d patiently wait for the ceremony to start.

And then there’s my habit of seeing the good in everybody. Yes, even in that person who cut me off in traffic—I tell myself maybe they were rushing to donate to charity.

These traits keep me grounded, keep my circle peaceful, and honestly? They’re my secret superpowers. Not loud, not flashy, but quietly powerful.

Peace!

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
