What does it mean to be a kid at heart?

It’s funny this question popped up today because just yesterday I was chatting with a buddy about how I’m totally a kid at heart. You know, being a kid at heart doesn’t mean you’re avoiding growing up—it’s really all about keeping that joy, curiosity, and light vibe that makes life awesome. Kids just laugh without a care, play without worrying about what others think, and are in awe of the tiny things—like a butterfly hanging out nearby, a rainbow after the rain, or the sheer fun of jumping into puddles.

As adults, it’s all too easy to drown in a sea of responsibilities and endless worries. But what if staying a kid at heart means smashing those constraints? It’s about laughing unapologetically, dreaming fearlessly, forgiving in a blink, and loving without hesitation. Keep that heart of yours soft, your imagination unleashed, and your spirit unapologetically vibrant—refuse to let age define your joy.

What’s one fun, “kid at heart” thing you can do today? Maybe crack up at something goofy, jump into a game, or just check out the world with a fresh perspective?

Peace!

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
